Key management systems enable full access control, monitoring, and also creating database on key usage. No unauthorised use and misuse

Key management systems involve special tags that may detect the presence or absence of the key, and depending on the system adjustments they may also lock in the key that the user is not entitled to and thus prevent its unauthorised taking. The keys have intelligent electronic hooks that the system uses for key identification, and the system also displays which keys the user is entitled to take and use.

On the client’s request, the strips for holding keys may stand in the open, on the wall, so they are seen and handled more easily, or they may be closed in the reinforced cabinets for additional protection. Key storing cabinets may take thousands of keys, and they also may have keypads for entering PIN codes, alarms and displays for showing data about who and when took and returned which particular key.

There is special software for monitoring several key cabinets at the same time, providing full control over the use of keys and complete key management. Key management systems are flexible and they may be easily expanded as the volume of work and the needs of the client require it.
